Developing Preschoolers

“Give me a child until he is seven and I will give you the man”  Plato

It is amazing that such comments, as the one above, made thousands of years ago, still hold true today. It is a well-known fact that between the ages of 0 and 7 a child’s brain is ready and willing to receive enormous amounts of new material. One only has to look at the speed with which children pick up their native language and for those with multi-lingual parents, a second language, to see how absorbent the human mind is at such a young age.

Shivani-ManikandanKumon is designed to capture the enthusiasm and motivation in pre-schoolers. Levels 7A to 5A of the Kumon worksheets are especially geared for this age group and include counting and drawing activities, pattern recognition as well as simple reading and number concepts.  They are brightly coloured, interesting to look at and always fun to do.

Kumon for pre-schoolers is about enjoyment. We ensure that our children enjoy learning and see it as a positive and enriching experience. Our goal is to promote a feeling of happiness and pleasure while doing the worksheets achieved through much praise and encouragement.
